Winery Resident

Winery, as defined by West Virginia statutes, means an establishment where wine is manufactured or in any way prepared.

A winery that does not meet the specifications to qualify as a farm winery must license as a winery and also license as a wine supplier and satisfy all license requirements, duties and responsibilities thereof.

The privileges, duties and responsibilities for the manufacture of wine is authorized by West Virginia Code §60-4 and the distribution of wine is detailed in Legislative Rule CSR 175-4-3 and authorized by West Virginia Code §60-8.
